SCDF Mission Statement:
California, one of  the most socio-economically and culturally diverse states, is alive with innovation and creativity.  SCDF aspires to embody this thriving ecology.  Focused on unveiling cutting-edge new dance works, preserving traditions, and sharing culture, SCDF showcases choreography and artistry to represent the state's unique and vibrant dance landscape. 

Objective:
Our goal is to provide a platform for choreographers to present their work that inspires conversation among artists and audiences alike, cultivating a strong and supportive network within the dance community.​

​Join SCDF as we celebrate the wide variety of dance in Southern California! We are excited to announce our first annual all sector dance festival. *We intend to represent many of the dance education sectors: K-12, pre-professional and professional. The performance is Saturday February 24th at 6pm at Lakeside High School, Lake Elsinore, CA.
